... but more on that later. I'm a lifelong Transformers collector, writer, photographer, reviewer, and podcaster. My work explores why I love the toys and the world surrounding them, along with the quirks of collecting.

I have been a Transformers fan since childhood, with the toys having sparked something in my imagination that the comics and cartoons of the time only expanded upon..Beast Wars later cemented my love for the robots in disguise, and I've maintained that appreciation ever since, throughout the brand's many different iterations over the years. It’s become a hugely rewarding hobby in so many respects, including the thrills of collecting — whether it's modern lines or vintage rarities. There’s also the rich vein of stories we're often gifted, bringing the toys to life, and the opportunity to be creative myself through photography and writing. Most importantly, though, is the amazing community I've encountered, including countless friendships made through a shared passion. It all serves to make Transformers mean more to me than just amassing a lot of toys, even though that is a part I enjoy too!
In terms of collecting, I enjoy a huge variety of Transformers lines — from vintage Generation 1, through the Beast era and Unicron Trilogy to later 2000s fare like Binaltech and Animated, as well as Masterpiece and modern Generations. I also adore related lines such as Takara's Brave, Diaclone, Micro Change, and Macross.I have a passion for real-world alternate modes, including a display of cars and vehicles that, for me, evokes a strong sense of nostalgia back to my late uncle's beautiful cabinet displays of countless Matchbox cars during my youth — a sure sign of how this hobby is about more than just objects; it's about an emotional connection that carries meaning beyond the toys themselves. This is where that journey lives now — photography, writing, and discussion shaped by decades of collecting and curiosity.
